Update, June 4: Ok, so let’s do this slightly differently. Here’s a closeup of my dog. This isn’t even a new picture; I just wanted to try posting some of my own photos that I now have uploaded on Photobucket. It’s free; it’s reasonably user-friendly; what’s not to like? [I'll answer that after I've used it for a while.]
That photo was taken about 2 years ago, but Bandit looks pretty much the same now. I think he’s chewing on a rawhide stick in this photo. He’s a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd/Bernese Mountain Dog mix, and will turn 12 in February. He is also The Best Dog On Earth, and we address him as such at least once a day, sometimes doing an impression of the Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons: “Best…Dog…Ever!”

Soon to come: Memorial Day photos! Including some of the gravesite of [late, lamented US Senator from Minnesota] Paul Wellstone. A large gravestone marker was recently installed; it’s very simple, very elegant, and very moving.
