Just saw something I thought was kinda funny tonight as I did a little shopping at the neighborhood supermarket…
Only a day after referring to Sarah Palin as “Gov Babycakes” in a comment about her awesome pregnancy decision-making abilities, what do I see today in my local grocer’s (appropriately enough) frozen foods section?
Hee.
Hey, I thought it was funny!
h/t to Sexy Redheaded Nuns for that awesome flowchart.

Just for the record, I didn’t make the flowchart. (Certainly wish I had.) Saw it on Digg. Have no idea whose it is.

Thanks for the flowchart anyway, Tommy. I just feel weird (well, weirder than usual) whenever I don’t give attribution of some kind.
Unlike some folks I could point to, who have been taking and displaying my McCain-Palin button without a link or any kind of attribution whatsoever. Toads! Wankers!

Ouch! I’m properly chastise and the situation has been rectified.

?? What th’ ?? OMG, I wasn’t talking about YOU, Tommy!!
No, I was alerted to a couple of totally unknown perps who just ganked the image to their own servers (perfectly admirable) and then posted it w/o any attribution (not so admirable).
Of course I could save myself a lot of aggravation if I’d just always remember to put “tildology.com” in some unobtrusive spot somewhere on every graphic I create. But no-o-o, I can’t be bothered to do that. That would make too much sense!!
Anyway, I am grateful that you put up some attribution if you did end up posting that pic somewhere (I haven’t seen it at SRN), but really my irate rant was aimed at somebody completely different!

I had replaced my little Obama logo with it, still linking to the big O’s site.
Now I’m using them both. You really need to start selling buttons.

Actually I thought about having it printed up as a sticker instead of a button, but Cafepress charges too much for stickers, way too much for buttons, and my local Kinko’s-Fedex would have taken forever to print them, and it would’ve cost plenty there too, so I just decided to let it go.
Something like that is really too spur of the moment for a button; it has it’s brief moment when it’s funny and then pffft it’s old news. It was a fun brief moment, tho — it brought in over 500 hits the first day alone.
Ah well. Easy come, easy go. It’s why I love teh intertubes.

Tild - I hope you’re not referring to me. I did shamelessly appropriate the button image, but I also linked it to you while hosting the image on my web space. And gave you props in the post as well.
I definitely did not mean to offend, and, if that is the case, I will gladly pull the pics. Just let me know.

Aack! No, I wasn’t referring to you either, Tom! I got an email from a friend who told me that one of his commenters had it up w/no attribution. Then another email from another friend telling me that they’d seen the button on some other site they happened upon by accident. These were completely unknown perps, not anybody from my blogroll or anybody that I’ve ever heard of.
Thanks for the plug on funnyfarmonline; it’s much appreciated!
