Oh happy day

When our prez is Barack
(When our prez is Barack)

You know, I never was the shopaholic fashonista type before, but suddenly– Those gloves! I MUST HAVE THEM!!
Apparently I’m not the only one. Just try finding them at the J. Crew site. Just try.

I have three things to say about this, and they are:
1) Do you honestly think Aretha gives a rat’s ass whether you or anybody else liked her hat?
2) Why don’t you: STFU, show some respect, get the proverbial life, and Go. Away. (in that order)
3) Oh, and take your fucking precious superior tastebuds with you.
I loved the hat. Okay, that’s 4 things. So sue me, bastids!

Never has the word “former” ever sounded sooo sweet. Don’t stop until you reach the Hague, dipwad!

I loved the hat, too. And I loved it the moment I saw her wearing it! It’s a great hat.
Yeah! It scorches my corneas whenever I have to read about some soulless gnat-brain pontificating about anybody’s fashion sense — but this isn’t anybody, this is Aretha freakin Franklin, people!!! Long live the Queen of Soul, and may she always wear anything she damn well pleases.
So her hat didn’t remind you of a Confederate battle flag?
OK, it was just me I guess.
Well, the color was a kind of a Confederate uniform gray..
Oh happy day indeed! We’re singing that one loud and strong over here in Australia too
Whoo hoo! Wonderful, isn’t it? I am so glad my children were able to see this day. Come on, everybody! Australia, North America, Africa, everybody! Group hug!!
Group hug indeed. And I see I’m not the only one struck by the resemblance to Confederate colours. I guess after Carter and Clinton that might be a plus.
The Hague ? Don’t I wish. First, Belgium will no longer support extraterritoriality – which takes the wind out of any purpose there. Spain has been acting as iif it will volunteer. I wrote to Rick B at Ten Percent about that.
Second, well…that’s sticky too
